ATTRACTIONS
The following attractions are all within easy walking distance of each other. One attraction follows the next as we walk around the city.

METROPOLITAN CATHEDRAL
No Cathedral has ever been built in such a short time (5 years) – yet taken so long to reach fruition (120 years). A scheme started in the 1850’s was abandoned, as was Sir Edward Lutyen’s dream of a Cathedral, second only in size to St Peter’s in Rome. It’s most striking feature is the Lantern Tower, containing the world’s largest stained glass window.
