MISSION STATEMENT

Our Mission is to provide the highest quality of English Language tuition to the local community and international students at a price everyone can afford.
We aim to help promote your skills, knowledge and experience to help you in your future studies or employment.

Embedded in our work is promoting equality, diversity, international understanding, cultural exchange, friendship, goodwill and Liverpool as a great city to study, live, work and visit.

Lilac was established in 2002 and moved into The Casa, Hope Street in 2009.
If you want to improve your general English skills or you need to acquire specific English language skills for your job or profession we are perfectly placed to support you in your goals.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE LESSONS
FREE registration. No fee to pay.

An Initial English Language Assessment to establish your level of English and place you in the appropriate group. This service is FREE.

The highest quality of English language tuition.

An Individual Learning Plan, so that you can gain the most from your time with us and achieve the learning objectives specified in the learning plan.

Regular assessments so you can see your progress.

A range of specific certificated courses, for example, IELTS, CAMBRIDGE.

Regular tutorial sessions. An important opportunity to discuss your progress and to remove any barriers you have in learning English and achieving your goals.

Affordable English language lessons.

Maximum class size – 6 students.

A flexible schedule of classes - daytime, evening and weekends.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND ADVICE
These courses are available to native and non-native English speakers. Upon successful completion you will be awarded an accredited qualification which will greatly increase your chances of employment. This is offered by the TEA Centre. The TEA Centre also offers advice, guidance and support in accessing employment.

ADDITIONAL SUPPORT
Lilac will provide a reference and a certificate outlining what you have studied and to what level. This is useful for future employers, especially if you have also gained a vocational qualification.

STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
We offer guidance and support in living in a foreign country.

24 hour support in case of an emergency.

Finally, we have a great social network in The Casa, where you can meet and practice your English with international students and local people in the heart of the student quarter.
